M365 security engineer

As a Microsoft Security Implementation & Optimization specialist, you will take a leading role in securing our clients' digital landscapes. Your primary focus will be the end-to-end management of the Microsoft security ecosystem.

Your Tasks

• Microsoft Security Implementation & Optimization: You implement, manage, and optimize the Microsoft Defender Stack, including:
  • Defender for Endpoint
  • Defender for Identity
  • Defender for Cloud Apps
  • Defender for Office 365
• Security Assessments: You perform detailed security assessments and provide strategic recommendations for Microsoft 365 environments.
• Project Management & Customer Engagement:
  • You take ownership of security projects and drive them to successful completion.
  • You develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers by understanding their security needs and continuously providing value.
• Continuous Learning & Documentation:
  • Stay updated with the latest Microsoft security developments and best practices.
  • Document security configurations and provide training when necessary.

Profile

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with the Microsoft Defender Stack and Intune.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange within a security context.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of security projects.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
• A strong willingness to learn and continuously improve your security expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Security Certifications (such as SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, or AZ-500) are a significant plus.
• Prior experience with Microsoft engagements and security consulting is highly valued.
