For an innovative player in the financial sector located in the heart of Antwerp, we are looking for an AI Engineer to help build the next generation of AI solutions. Here, you won't be working on experiments that end up gathering dust on a shelf; you will be developing AI systems that are effectively deployed in production and used daily.

What will you be doing?

As an AI Engineer, you will work on end-to-end AI solutions with genuine impact:

Design & Development

AI Prototypes: Designing and building high-impact AI prototypes.
RAG Architectures: Developing Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures.
Knowledge Retrieval: Implementing vector search & knowledge retrieval (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.).
AI Agents: Building AI agents and intelligent workflows (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, etc.).

Strategy & Implementation

Production-Ready: Collaborating with Data Engineers to make solutions production-ready.
Business Translation: Translating business requirements into concrete AI applications.
Optimization: Optimising prompts, pipelines, and evaluation strategies.

Leadership & Context

Mentoring: Coaching and mentoring junior AI profiles.
Environment: Working in a high-value and strictly regulated environment.
