Alexander Mertens is an entrepreneurial founder with a passion for building consumer brands that challenge category norms. He is the CEO and co-founder of The French Kiss Club, an Antwerp-based wine lifestyle company on a mission to make quality wine accessible, memorable, and culture driven. From cans on festival fields to bottles in lifestyle venues across Belgium and the UK.

Alexander studied International Relations and Diplomacy at Universiteit Antwerpen and has built a professional trajectory from co founding a startup during his studies to an internship at The Belgian Embassy in Tokyo, a role in politics and back to startup life. He is interested in building brands, community engagement, and innovative product experiences.

Beyond wine, he is also involved in a non operational role in some other startups like Not Just Salt, a company focused on electrolyte products that support health and performance, reflecting his broader interest in lifestyle and wellbeing ventures.
